"BUSY"-an understatement to describe our family this summer. Summer, what was that? Is summer still here or has it already flown right by us. Well, it doesn't matter really because this summer was one of the best summers we've had in a very long time! Don't get me wrong, I love to relax here and there but I really do enjoy the hustle and bustle of life in a small town! So, what have we been doing all summer you might ask? Well, since the last blog post we have taken the students of FBC to Student Life camp along with the girls and we had a blast! Not only did Trey and I have a chance to get to know the students a lot better but the girls got to be a part of the ministry with us and for us that is important. It is important to us as a family that we serve God together! We also had girls/guys night with the students and well I've done a lot, I mean a lot of painting! Don't ask if the house is done because well it's not yet complete! But as I remember growing up, mom always had something for dad to fix or paint and since I'm the only one painting in this family (haha) I may be doing this for a while....but we are blessed to have this home and so to me, it's nothing!

We've been so blessed by our church family and by the students we work with! I can't tell you how much we've enjoyed opening up our home and hearts to them and we look forward to years of ministry together! So, thank you FBC and FBC students for making us feel like family already!!!!

As far as our family goes, we're FANTASTIC! The girls just make us laugh on a daily basis, with the things they say (I mean where do they learn some of these words haha, so cute) and the way they are playing together is so adorable (well sometimes, other times they are a mess). They are getting so BIGG too, Hannah is getting close to being 2 1/2 years old here soon and Noelle is almost 1 1/2 years old. Where has the time gone, I have tears in my eyes just thinking about how the time has flown by, but we are exciting to see the girls and young women that they are and will become and we pray that they are women that will honor and serve their Jesus! As far as adding more to the family, well for right now we are thinking about and praying about adoption. We already sense God calling us to adopt but now it's praying and waiting on God's timing and for his answers to our many questions: "Where do we adopt from?" "And how can we do this financially?" We know that God will provide the means and the answers to the rest of our questions in His timing, so for now we PRAY!!!! (please excuse spelling errors, I'm tired)

Little delayed on the Happy 4th, but it was because we were having so much fun this weekend!

Friday we cleaned the house, went grocery shopping, and I finished painting some rooms in the house to get ready for family to come on Saturday. Saturday morning Uncle Josh and Kayla came down from Jackson, MS (with their adorable little tea cup yorkie "Roxie") to vist for the weekend. We spent Sat. hanging out at the house (with the cable guy too bc it took him over 4 hrs to hook up the cable...that's a whole other posting) and we cooked out. Trey and Josh did a great job cooking my stuffed pork loin on the grill, we won't mention the corn being a little black though. Loaded mashed potatoes and 'oreo cream stuff' made us so full we went right into the living room and all had to lay down! Sunday Bro. Mike finished his two part sermon on Missions and again (like last week) it just made us want to go now, even more! But we know that it is all in God's timing, and with that we can rest easy! So, we convinced Kayla to skip a little work on Monday and so her and Josh spent Sunday night with us too...and I'm so glad they did. Our church had a 4th of July party and they got to watch Hannah sing in the talent show. I don't know about any of ya'll, but when my little girl got up there and sang with all her heart, I was in tears....I'm not even nervous when I sing in front of people, but I was all nerves before she sang. And last night after we came home and put the girls in bed, we had a great time just sittin and talkin with Josh and Kayla!

Josh and Kayla: We are so blessed that ya'll came and spent the 4th of July with us! We love you so much and you already know how much the girls just adore ya'll! We can't wait til' you come down again in a couple of weeks! Love ya'll!!!!!!!!!

To all the family that couldn't make it down or that we just weren't able to see: WE LOVE YA'LL TOO!!!!

So, I know...I'M A TOTAL SLACKER!!!! I haven't posted in over 2 1/2 months, but a lot has happened in our life since April. We have moved from Jackson MS to Amite LA, Trey has started a new job as Student Minister at FBC Amite, the girls are in a new house and environment, and I'm painting and decorating like crazy....WOW that's just exhausting typing it! But we are so thankful to be in Amite, to be a part of a wonderful church family, and so thankful for God's provision for our family!

It just so happens that today, my first day back to blogging in awhile, is Father's Day! Today is a bittersweet day! I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful Godly husband who is an amazing father to our two beautiful children. He makes me laugh and cry (happy cry) and makes me just feel blessed to be a part of his family each and everyday. Each day he shows Hannah and Noelle (and me) more and more love than the day before. But most importantly he shows them the love of Christ. I pray that one day they find a man to marry just like their daddy....that will make me one happy mommy!!! Thank you babe for the joy you bring me each and everyday when I watch you with Hannah and Noelle; I can tell how much they love you when I watch them with you! You are my best friend, a Godly and loving husband, and an amazing father!!!! I love you so very much!!!!!

So bittersweet you ask??? Well, it's a bittersweet day bc we are able to celebrate and honor Trey as a dad, but we're not able to be with our fathers.

My dad is and has always been a wonderful example of what I should look for in a husband and father to my children. He is a great provider for his family, a loving husband to my mother, and just a great dad! He was always and is still always someone I can talk to at any time day or night and I know that he will provide words of wisdom from his heart! My dad showed me how to strive daily to be a better Christian and follow Christ no matter what's going on around me! Thank you dad for being such a Godly father and a great example to me! You are and will always be one of my best friends....I love you!!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! There is a Father above all others to be thankful for, and that is my Heavenly Father! Thank you Lord for creating me, for loving me even when I've failed you, and for giving me so many blessings in my life. Words cannot express the gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice you made (sending Your one and only Son to die on the cross) so that I may live with You for eternity!!!! May I strive daily to be what you want me to be and to follow you know matter what the cost. And may my life be a true reflection of who you are in me! Thank you for allowing Trey and I the privelage to call ourselves mom and dad to Hannah and Noelle. We know that they are your children and we are just here to raise them according to your Word...so may we strive daily to do just that! Thank you Lord for loving me...I love you so much!!!

WHAT IF???

This morning's sermon was taken from 1 Corinthians 15:14-19, about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Brother Jonathan's sermon topic was "What If"..."What if there was no resurrection?" It was a very powerful reminder of not just the POWER of the cross but the POWER of the resurrection! If Christ wouldn't have RISEN then we would have no hope in an abundant life, a faith is someone and something far greater than ourselves! 'Thank you Lord for caring enough for me that you sent Your ONE AND ONLY SON to come to seek and save those who are lost, die an unspeakable death on a cross, and to RISE...to RISE so that we have eternal life and that we may have life more abundantly!'

HAPPY EASTER!

If you know me, you know that I love having an excuse to shop and so of course Easter Sunday calls for Easter Sunday dresses (of course!) for the girls! I got them dressed at the very last possible minute this morning before we were to leave the house, so that nothing got on them and so that Hannah's hair stayed seemingly fixed! We miss all our friends from back home and our family, but we had a wonderful lunch and fellowship time with Lori and Jason and their family! Thank ya'll for the wonderful food and for a great friendship!

Right now, I'm in the middle of the study of David-90 Days with a Heart Like His by Beth Moore, and I'm loving every minute of it. So many people talk about those that they admire from the bible. Don't get me wrong, I admire a lot of the individuals in the bible such as Esther for her courage, Hannah for her faithfulness, Paul for his steadfastness, and the list can go on and on, hopefully I'll have chances to mention them in upcoming blogs. Today though it's about David, other than admiration there is respect and just a sense of "awe". His 'humaness' when it comes to making mistake after mistake after mistake and you just want to be able to say "dude, are you serious..again?" but then it sometimes would almost seem like 'it's the pot calling the kettle black' right? Great example of how relevant scripture is today and I've taken so much from his life and walk with God. It seems that every time I read about him in scripture, time after time, God is revealing so many new things to me. Just recently, I remember how in awe of him I was when I was reading about him and his son and how he was crying (literally weeping) and crying out for the son who had just tried to kill him after taking over his (David's throne) but was killed, himself...."O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! Would I had died instead of you, O Absalom, my son, my son." A father truly grieving the loss of his own flesh and blood, not concerned that just days before Absalom sought to kill him....So, how is that relevant to me you might ask? Well, I want to be like David, to have the heart that he did as a parent...to always love my children, no matter how many things they may do to me or to others or how many times they may sin, a NO MATTER WHAT love (the love that God has for us, that David had for Absalom)....I think I have that love, but to live daily to strive to have that love and continue that...May my love for my Lord God overflow to my husband and children, that they may see my NO MATTER WHAT LOVE!

Update on the family: My voice came back, almost completely now (I'm sure Trey loves that!) and Hannah went to the doc on Mon. and got medicine for her ear infection (and now no more fever, appetite is back)! Since we didn't really get a chance to celebrate on Sunday because Hannah wanted nothing to do with the cake, only presents, we let her eat cake Monday morning after breakfast because she wanted to and...well IT'S HER BIRTHDAY WEEK! We also had a few good friends over on Wed. to finish off the cake for us. Billy, Anna, Ethan, and Bennett and Victoria came over and we had a great time just fellowshipping with one another. We are really blessed to have such good friends so close, especially with not having any of my family near by, it's def. comforting! Thanks for a fun time last night...we love ya'll!

So, today March 14th is one of our little girls birthdays, Hannah Elizabeth turned 2 yrs old today! It seems like it was only yesterday that Trey and I were making our way down to West Penn Hospital at 10:30 at night, only to have called my parents to let them know that we felt it was time (Hannah was coming!) and my dad laughed and said "Call me when you're on your way home later tonight"...so the next morning we made a believer out of him (as he waited with coffee in hand in the waiting room) while Hannah Elizabeth Fuller was born! The past 2 years have been PURE JOY when it comes to Hannah (when it comes to both of our children) and I think one of the greatest joys is seeing Hannah with Noelle...they love each other so much and they always make us laugh! We love being parents, but more than that...WE LOVE BEING HANNAH AND NOELLE'S MOMMY AND DADDY-it's our favorite!!!

Today though was bittersweet, the whole family has been sick and Hannah especially wasn't feeling very well (barely eating much at all and wanting nothing to do with her birthday cake), BUT we did a little celebrating and with that I have some pictures! Hopefully tomorrow we'll have more pics with the cake, but for now this is all that we have:

I saw the light for the first time today, it seems. Thursday I woke up, felt fine, Trey and I went to Amite in the afternoon for a 2nd interview with a church there that's looking at Trey for their Student Minister Position...which went GREAT...GOD IS SO GOOD! But on our way home that night, the way I was feeling just starting declining, and by the time I hit the sack that night I was a complete mess...coughing like crazy, my head was pounding, and I was losing my voice. Trey woke up at 2:30 am Friday morning, only to find me on the floor in front of the toilet, we all know what that means (no need to go into more details). So, my loving husband searched the house for medicine to remedy my ailments, only to find we were out...so he then graciously got in the car and drove down to Kroger, where he bought (what seems to be) the whole shelf of dayquil/nightquil. Thankfully, it seems I'm getting better...slowly but surely! And praise the Lord that my children didn't catch it either, although I have to credit Trey with some of that seeing that he's been practically taking care of them alone for the 2 days or so, and it has been a blessing to be able to stay in bed and not have to worry about things!

Well, enough SICKLY talk....God is a healing God and I pray that He continues to heal my body. I know that I don't deserve His healing one bit, seeing that I fall short daily when it comes to my walk with Him. So, "Thank you, Lord for seeing ALL my needs and still being willing to meet them even though I know there is no way I can/could ever repay you fully for all that you do for me!"

Back to seeing the light; we had to get out and go to the store...did I just say had to? Wow, ususally the trips to the store are more because we want to, but today we actually kind of had to (or so we think)....Hannah's 2nd birthday is tomorrow and we had to get a few things. I can't believe how fast the past 2 years seem to have flown by, she's so big! Everyday I stop and just thank God for what an amazing family He has given me, and what incredible children He is allowing us to raise!

So, let me tell you a little bit about Hannah these days: She weighs 23 lbs, her hair is now long enough that she doesn't look like she has a mulet, she loves Dora the Explorer (she loves talking to her and she's getting good at answering her q's...that is the only show she can watch....i'm not big on kids and tv at all), she loves singing songs like "Jesus Loves Me", "Are you Sleeping", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and many others, she loves dancing (and not the usual baby bouncing up and down dancing)...she does the side to side hip dancing ALL THE TIME especially when naked, she loves praying (and if we forget before any meal, she reminds us saying "Pray Pray, Pray we Eat" so cute), and she loves her little sister "No Elle"....even though she wacks her sometimes and knocks her over a lot, if Noelle isn't around she always says "Where No Elle, where No Elle at?" We just love our little almost 2 yr old and we'll post pics of the two of them tomorrow from Hannah's Dora Party!

Thank you to anyone and everyone that's been a special part of Hannah's life in the past 2 yrs., it has been nice to have the support of family and friends when raising our children! We love ya'll (you know who you are!) and wish ya'll could all be a part of her special day tomorrow!

For awhile now, at our church here in Byram (RRBC) we've been going through the bible; book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse and it has been an amazing journey for me! No matter how many times I have read the books of the bible in the past or read or heard sermons preached on certain scripture, this has been probably the most beneficial in truly understanding His Word. I know that he probably would say that I shouldn't give him any credit, but I have to say that our Pastor Jonathan Russell has really taken us deep into the Word, in truly understand verse by verse.

Tonight, we started into 1 Kings and King Solomon's reign....WOW! And I'm reminded yet again that even today you can learn so much from people who lived so long ago. I love that when God appeared to Solomon in a dream saying, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you.", that King Solomon didn't ask for riches or a long life, but that he asked God for WISDOM! I could only hope and pray that if asked the same question by God, that I would have the same response as King Solomon. That is my prayer: that I would seek the wisdom from God that King Solomon sought and God gave him.

And as a family we ask that you pray for us tomorrow, as Trey and I will be traveling to Amite, LA to meet with the personnel committee again at a church there for a Student Ministry position that they are looking for Trey to fill. They are so excited about us as a couple, about Trey and his vision for the student ministry, and about our future mission work in Africa. This church is earnestly seeking God, and we def. have seen that when we were there only a 2 weeks ago, so please pray for them also. We can't imagine leaving our church family here, but we know they are excited for the road God is taking us on and the future He has for us both on and off the mission field!

PATIENCE...what a great word and topic for our life lately!

(Hey there the name is Ashley Fuller....(chuckle)...this blog is def. not new it's just a new update in almost a year, and that is pretty embarassing. My life is def. not too hectic that I can't sit down for a few minutes every other day and post a blog to keep our loved ones that aren't able to see us on a regular basis, updated. So, I must start by thanking my sis Mer and my friend Tonya for non-intentionally motivating me (by well, nothing they said, but just keeping up with their own blogs while life continues around them)...so thank you gals!)

PATIENCE....patience for waiting on God's will, waiting for a moment to pass, waiting for an answer that might come in another form. Since, our last post we have gone through a lot as a family; moments that were cheerful, sad, and sometimes just everyday moments that make you think "Wow! We are so blessed!" I'll take note from Tonya and kind of just lay it out for ya'll:

May-September
Life was crazy trying to get the girls on similar schedules and asking God for the patience to get through each moment and count each one as a TRUE blessing! Hannah and Noelle enjoyed their first summer together: swimming, playing at the park, Noelle's first airplane ride, Hannah got potty trained-yea! My brother got married in June to his amazing wife Jacki, and I'm so glad the girls have another wonderful Aunt!

September-December

What a whirl-wind of life! Trey and I started our non-profit org. Mayatima International Ministries (building an orphanage in Kenya) and just being patient that God's timing is EVERYTHING! He has already done so much through the organization: Trey took a trip to Africa and God showed Him so many things concerning the orphanage and our future there in Kenya! My husband turn 28 and I turned 24...28 and 24 ya'll-that's not old I'm jsut saying I can't believe it's been 3 yrs. since we first met! Noelle had her 1st...well everything and Hannah just seemed to grow up too fast for us...Each and everyday there was something new that Noelle and Hannah did that just gave us so much joy...still does!

January

A very specialwomen: wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother passed away...Teresa Fuller (Trey's mom) passed away on January 23rd after her long battle with Breast Cancer and I guess we're still being patient when it comes to the sadness of having her gone. But don't get us wrong, we REJOICE in knowing that she is in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ, cancer free! Amen!

February

Oh, to some it's the month of Valentine's Day but to our family it's the month of special birthdays! Noelle turned ONE YEAR OLD on the 19th...wow what a fast year it seems...I think I need to be patient with myself in thinking "What will she be like when she's Hannah's age?" I need to let the time go by, I'm already asking where the past year went! Teresa (mawmaw's) birthday was on the 26th and she would have been 51, and we celebrated her being with Jesus!

March

Ok, so you get how Patience is so much a part of our life, as are all the fruits of the Spirit! May God continue to instill patience in me to be the best God honoring wife and mother I can be! And we pray that our children learn by our example...I already see Hannah imitating me, as she loves to pretend to put on make-up like mommy does, or take care of her little sister the way mommy and daddy do....she'll be TWO on the 14th and I can't believe it....TWO!

Well, we are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and group of friends! Please keep us in your prayers as God continues to work in the life of our family, showing us His goodness and love!

New Post, New Day, New Place

So we've finally settled into our new apartment in Mississippi and let me tell you it has been a long journey! When we first arrived April 1st in Mississippi, we were staying with Trey's parents until we found a place to live...it took a little bit llonger then we expected but we love our new place! I will post pictures of it as we get each room completed. Right now we have the kitchen practically done and same with the living room, we just need to hang some things on the walls to make it all cozy! We also have 3 bedrooms, two baths and a laundry room (the washer and dryer are coming this week...Praise Jesus!), so there's plenty of room for the whole family! The apartment complex has it's own pools, and a lake with a walking path, and some play grounds..WONDERFUL!

Please continue to be in pray as Trey tries to find employement, it has been so hard with the lastest layoffs and bad economy. We found out this weekend that a local church needs a youth minister, so he's going to go by this week to talk to the pastor. We know that God always makes a way where there seems to be no way so we just conitue to pray that we'll continue to have faith!

Update: Trey's mother has ended her radiation treatment and went back to the doctor today. She had some bloodclots but they didn't seem too too alarmed. She will be scheduled soon to go and see the doctors for another scan. Please continue to be in pray for her and the family as they deal with the day to day struggles! And we continue to praise Jesus for things like the fact that she no longer needs a walker to get around!

So, mother and father, Aunt Meme, and everyone else that has complained about no pics being posted-again we are sorry, we've been without the internet for a little over a month, but we're back and up and running!
Noelle is getting so big we can't even believe it...It seems like so long ago since Hannah was the tiny! Anyways, she is smiling and laughing (in a weird way) but she's a WONDERFUL little baby girl and just amazes each day with something new (even being so little). She is a great sleeper, she's been sleeping through the night for awhile now and her and Hannah have been sharing a room for over a month now, it's working out beautifully! And Hannah is so crazy and big, she's cruising around the house, it was like one minute she was crawling and in a split second she just knew how to walk! She loves it! And she's saying so many new things everyday, and sometimes she'll just stand there and talk to you like you are having some conversation, but there are no "real words" but we talk back...it's hilarious! She colored for the first time the other day and a few weeks ago she went swimming for the first time! She is an amazing big sis already, anytime Noelle cries and is in her crib or carseat, Hannah will go over and shake her to help calm her (and the funny thing is, it actually works)! Wow, how fast our lives seem to go with children, but we wouldn't trade a day with them for anything! We love our girls!

The Power of Prayer....And Our New Baby Girl!

As I sit here in our special hospital room looking over at little Noelle Grace, who a little earlier weighed in at 5 lbs 12 oz., I am amazed how blessed Trey and I are with not one but two beautiful little girls. The past 5 days has been crazy, filled with tears and laughter and sometimes just plain "stress", but first and foremost we thank the Lord for pulling us through it all and thank everyone who has been in prayer for our family!

We came to the hospital around 7:30pm on Feb 18th and by 6:30am Feb 19th we had a new addition to the family. The doctors, nurses, and all the staff at the hospital have gone above and beyond! We learned shortly after Noelle Grace was born that she was having respitory problems and would need to be immediatly admitted to the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit. By the grace of God I happened to have delivered at one of the finest hospitals in the country for that type of care! How great is our God! And as the days progressed, what was thought to be fluid on her lungs from phenomia, turned out to be fluid from the birthing process which cleared up by Saturday afternoon. And Saturday evening they decided that she was improving enough to move her up to the Pediatric Ward where we could finally room in with her.

It was so hard last Thursday not being able to just hold and cuddle our newborn but we new she was in God's hands and now we are able to totally bond! Trey and Hannah have been bonding the past two nights (as Hannah can't stay up here, so Trey comes as early as he can with her and leaves right before her bedtime)...what an amazing husband and father!

And as of today, even with a little weight loss, the doctor's say she is doing great and looks fantastic! She was able to be taken off her IV at 5am this morning and they say should be able to go home with us tomorrow around noon time! So please be in prayer that we would continue to see God's hand in all of this! Again thank you for all your prayers! We love you all!

And as for Hannah Elizabeth, she already knows that when we say wave to your sister, she can find Noelle and wave her hand to her...It is the cutest thing! She is getting so big and we can't wait until they can both be running around becoming the best of friends!

Update of Hannah

Hannah is 9 and 1/2 months old and growing by the minute. She now eats all her meals with bits and peices in them and she's a pro at chewing! Yea Hannah! Also she knows how to turn off the lights, and if we turn them off she looks at us with her puppy dog look...it's so cute, she never lets us forget that she can do it (so that's her thing now). We've been trying this week to switch Hannah over from a bottle to a sippy cup and we were just going to switch the middle bottle out of the day for now, but it wasn't working. So, today we decided to go "Cold Turkey" and she is doing awesome! I think that's what it was supposed to take...we're blessed that Hannah can do so many things and we know it may be early for her to stop the b ottle all together for most babies but Hannah loves her sippy cup. God's def. preparing us all for the new baby who will be here in a little over 2 months and it's such a blessing that Hannah is doing GREAT learning new stuff!
On another note: Hannah loves Curious George and so for Christmas we got her the cutest pj's...we took picks tonight before she went to bed! Enjoy!

I just want to thank the Szala Family for a very fun evening last night. Trey, Hannah, and I went over to the Szala house around 5 yesterday to have Christmas Dinner after we had spent lots of family time together playing with our (well Hannah's) new toys and presents. It was us, the Szala's, Joanie, and Lori's sister's family and we had a blast. We not only had great food but great fellowship. We were sad that we weren't able to be around our families for Christmas and have Hannah enjoy all her grandparents and aunts and uncles for her first Christmas, but what a blessing it is to have the Szala family in our lives. God def. has blessed us with them and we do consider them our family!!!! I do have to say though that the team I wasn't on last night somehow I know cheated in the game of Taboo...just kidding! But to our family far away, we miss you so very much and can't wait to see some of you when the new baby is here. Oh by the way, we have another name to consider: Noelle Grace....but we're still in prayer, just wanted to keep everyone updated.
We're doing our best to get all the videos uploaded and pics on the blog too, but we hope you enjoy what's on here so far and whats to come (excuse the mess of the blog)!!
And we have a feeling Caleb will be here by the end of next week. Trey and I were talking and it's so weird to think that the stage Mer is at now in her pregnancy, Hannah would've already been here if it was my last pregnancy. It's so neat to think that when Hannah was almost a week old, she was as big as Caleb is now inside Aunt Meme! God is amazing!!!!!! We love you already Caleb and can't wait to meet you, whenever God has planned that you will come!

Christmas Day Is Here!

Well, Christmas has finally come and we have had an amazing day thus far. First last night was wonderful. Trey had to work 6 hrs yesterday and so Hannah and I stayed home and cleaned and got dinner all prepared. After Trey got off work we headed to church. The place was packed and our prayer is that everyone who was there on last night will come back to church each week(not just making this a once a year appearance). After church we came home and Hannah finally got to wear her reindeer pj's and she was off to bed. Trey and I enjoyed a nice huge meal: meatloaf muffins, green beans wrapped in bacon drenched in barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes, and for dessert we had Grampa Cliff's famous Oreo Cream Stuff. Mmmmm!!!!!
Hannah woke us up at 6:45 am...she must have known it was Christmas. We all showered and got dressed, and after Hannah ate breakfast we read her "Little Baby Jesus Is Here" and then opened Christmas presents. Hannah was half interested in opening the first present, daddy was in charge of getting all the toys out and ready to be played with. She had a blast while mommy opened the rest. Hannah got: lots and lots of clothes (all SO very cute), some curious George pj's, a cute jacket, a walker (the kind you walk behind), a play phone, a stacker, a 'bead thing', and music player, a walking pooh, and a turtle with shapes. Trey got: shirts, a rain coat covering, a spotlight, a haircutting kit, and a watch. Ashley got: a monogrammed makeup bag, furry slippers, jewelry, a pillow, and body spray. Our family gifts included lots of money (that was such a blessing!) and a cool GPS that Trey can't seem to put down!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to everyone! We love you all!
We know that as Hannah gets older she will be able to participate more and more in the Christmas present opening and also to better understand the true meaning of Christmas! You should have seen her when we were reading her book to her about Baby Jesus!!!! This was our 2ND Christmas as a married couple and first with Hannah, each year will bring more joy as our family grows! "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!"

It is so cold in the "Burgh"...I think when Trey left for work at 10:30am it was 4 degrees. Boo! And then with the wind, it makes it so much colder! Our weekend was wonderful, we did some last minute shopping and Trey took me on a after-birthday date to the movies. Friday night he brought me home a mini cheesecake, put a candle on it and sang Happy Birthday to me!!! Hannah now has a "big" girl car seat and she loves it! And now Trey only has to carry Hannah up and down to the car, not the whole carseat!!!! Hannah is getting so big and every morning I remind her that there are 5...4...3...days til' Christmas. She just looks at me and smiles! I took some pictures and more video of Hannah! The other baby is doing great, reminding me by her kicks everyday that she is not far from being here, and we can't wait! We're still praying about a name for her and we know that God will show us which name will be best (thank you family for your input, we know before we talk to ya'll which names your going to like and not like, we sometimes just like to be humored by all of you). We have seemingly narrowed it down to 3 names: Ruth Anne, Rachel Hadassah, Rebekah Noel-we love all 3!!!!!!!

Well, I don't mean to mention my own birthday, BUT it's my birthday!!!! And even though there's nothing crazy going on today, it's the BEST birthday yet because I have a wonderful husband (he made last year's birthday the best until now) and a beautiful baby girl (and another on the way who wished me Happy Birthday this morning by giving me a big kick)!! My hubby is taking me to a movie tomorrow afternoon and sweet Hannah this morning woke me up with saying "ma ma"...I went into her room and she was all smiles and laughs. Is there any better way to start off your birthday (even at 7:15am)??? I don't think so!!!!!!! Christmas is right around the corner and we are so excited. We went and bought Hannah's Christmas gifts last night and so now everything is wrapped and under the tree. Thanks to all the family for all the beautifully wrapped gifts and I'm sure whatever is inside of them is going to make us all very happy come Christmas morning! The tree has been up for about a week now and so far Hannah hasn't really attacked it! There's some new pics, I'll post some more later too!!! Love you all! And another quick note, I know Aunt Meme won't be having her baby today...even though I secretly kind of wished for that. But we want her to know that we love her and Uncle Matt so much and can't wait for Caleb~We pray all goes well at the doctor's office today!!!!

We're Back!

We've gotten a lot of hassle about not updating the blog lately and we're sorry about that. There's been a lot going on lately and now we have a ton to write about.
Hannah is huge! In reality she's just growing up fast and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. She brings lots of laughter and tears (good ones) to each new day and it's just incredible how God created such a sweet little girl. Whoever lot we could love someone so little so much! She's been doing her "army drag" for a long time now and has been sitting up on her own for a little over a month or so. Her favorite thing to do now is to be "free" on the floor in the living room. She does her super roll (rolling 4-5 times really fast) to make her way to the kitchen or the tv set where she loves to try to pull down the Christmas decorations. She's been pulling up on things and is very close to successfully sitting herself back up...it'll happen one of these days. She just brings so much excitement to our lives and we know that she will be a great big sis.
And speaking of the new little one...I should be returning to the doctor very soon, but our last and final ultrasound we had last month showed that she is doing great. They didn't get great pics of her heart in October because she was moving around so much so they just had take a second look. Her due date still stands at March 10th, which seems to be approaching rather quickly!
THANKSGIVING! Trey and I were blessed to have some family here to celebrate the holidays with us...my parents arrived the Monday before Thanksgiving (Zach and Jacki came tues. and Mer on wed.) and we just had blast. We're grateful to Matt for sparing Mer for their first Thanksgiving as a married couple and with her being soo pregnant it was just a blessing to be able to share the holidays with her. And we thank God for her health (she's doing great now) and for Caleb who will be here sooner than we know it. And thanks Mom and Dad for all the ways you blessed Trey, Hannah, and I while you were here (even when you aren't here we feel blessed for all you do for us)! And Hannah loves her Uncle Zach and Aunt Jacki and just had so much fun with all the family that week! She's just now getting over the fact that Mommy is only one person (since she had so many people to play with that week) and I can't entertain her every minute of every day. And thank you all for all the pre-Christmas gifts and just gifts...we are THANKFUL! And to all the family in Mississippi, we're so thankful that Hannah has so many people that love her and even though ya'll couldn't spend the holidays with us, you were here in our thoughts and in our hearts!
So I'm blogged out I think...Christmas will be here 16 days and we can't wait! Hannah's first Christmas and we can't wait to read to her the 'Baby Jesus Story' from her little book with the furry sheep, but we're def. going to have some fun with the whole Santa thing too (even if she can't understand everything yet)! Don't worry I won't write this much each time, but there was a lot of time we didn't blog about....we love you all!!!!!!! (I posted pics from the shower we threw for Mer and others from that week)

A Look To The Holidays!

Our camera has not been working probably to be able to upload new pics of Hannah...bummer! But the time has flown by, it's almost Thanksgiving and the new baby will be here before we know it! We are so blessed to be able to have our family coming for the whole week of Thanksgiving! Dad and mom come in Monday night, Zach and Jacki on Tues. night, and Mer on Wed. Sadly Matt won't be able to come this year b/c of work, but what a blessing to have everyone else! Over the years, the tradition of the Montroy family has been to travel to the Songer's house and spend Thanksgiving with them and celebrate Christmas with them the Friday after...the past couple of years we've all been seperated and have been starting new chapters in our lives, but WE'RE BACK! Hannah is so big and I can't wait to show her off to the fam. next week! And to all of our family in Mississippi.."We miss you all and wish that we could all be together for the Holidays!"

Back From A Long...Pause!

Hello again! It's been a little while since our last post and I just wanted to update everyone on the family! A week or so does not seem long enough for a lot to happen but it most certainly has. Hannah is getting so big and has accomplished a lot in such a short period of time. She now knows how to say "ma ma" and "da da" (she says "ma ma" a lot more which is so weird because all we've said the past 3 months or so has been "da da"). She knows somewhat who is who, but it was so cute when this morning Trey walked into the room and she looked up at him and said "ma ma" very loudly...it was hilarious! Also she's learning how to stand on her own and we're teaching her how to walk with assistance (that one is coming along) but she can stand up by herself holding onto the exersaucer for a couple of minutes! What a treat! The only thing that is scaring me is that she can get to one side of the room faster than you can say Hannah...and man does it give you a work out chasing after her (and remember this is all BEFORE she's walking...my goodness)!

Secondly, my brother Zach came to visit last week and what a joy it was to spend so much time with him. Because of Zach's church job he can't stay in town but a few days and normally there's so much family around that it's hard to just "talk" with him, but last week Trey, Hannah, and I all got to talk, play, and just have so much fun with him. And the best was when we got to enjoy a delicious dinner at the Hilton (thanks to mom and dad!) with Zach and hear him sing for the Pregnancy Resource Center Banquet. That was a special night! And don't worry Zach, Hannah had fun too-right now she doesn't like anyone, but she will again soon!

Thirdly and lastly an update on the baby! Noel is doing wonderful we pray! I'll start my 23rd week tomorrow and the pregnancy this time around has been so much easier on me. I think having a little one to run after and take care of helps keep my mind (most of the time) off of the "fun" pregnancy stuff (fun meaning pain and sickness). We're still praying about Noel's middle name, but we know that will come with time. God has tremendously blessed Trey and I with Hannah and we can't wait to meet Noel!

Sometimes while Hannah is eating, I get to turn on the TV and see if there is anything worth watching, today there def. was something. Of all the shows (Oprah), I saw an amazing video of a young baby boy and I just think, "How could ANYONE say that there is not a God after watchng this video?" Before you go to the link watch the video, you might need a box of tissues because I most certainly did. Listen carefully to the end of the video and what the dad has to say about God and about his sweet little son.
This is just a reminder how much of a blessing life is; whether it' a baby still in the womb, a 5 minute old baby, a 2 yr old toddler, 30 year old mother, or 80 yr. old great grandmother, life is soo precious! Each day we give thanks to God that we are so lucky that Hannah was born so healthy and we pray the same for Noel and Caleb. But no matter what, we love and always will love our children with everything we have because God gave them to us. So this is a tribute to life, young and old and remembering this sweet baby boy who I've never heard of before today, but who touched my life!

A Few Quick Words!

So, I noticed today that it's been awhile since we did a post on the blog...sorry about that to the family and friends that keep up with our blog. Well, what can I update you on? Hannah is now doing (as my mom says) the "GI JANE" crawl, for some reason she does not feel like crawling all the way yet, but man does she move fast with that crawl! Also, she's been talking more than ever and Trey "thinks" Hannah has said Da Da...and if that's true she's said Nana and Hannah too, so who knows!? And oh yes, she's now screaming and she thinks it's hilarious! She's sooo cute and we are so excited for the holidays to come, watching her get bigger makes us so happy but sad that she's growing up and FAST! She'll be 8 months in just a couple of weeks...WOW!!!

So, a little over 4 months to go til the new baby arrives and we're so blessed to be having another girl! We talk to Hannah everyday about the baby and we pray that when the she comes, Hannah will make a wonderful "big sis"...we know she will! And as for the new baby's name we've decided on Noel, but the middle name is still undecided-we're still praying about that! We love everybody and miss you all so much!!!

Well, I have a lot to say, but I have really no time. I just gave Hannah a "big girl bath" and dressed her and then we came and woke up daddy...so as my family is playing beside me I thought I would take a moment to blog since I haven't done that in a while.

First I need to say CONGRATS to my brother Zach for proposing on Monday to the wonderful Jacki! We couldn't wait for the phone call, knowing just a week go that he was going to "pop the question"! We adore Jacki and we love them both so much!!!

Also, as you read up top...Hannah is now taking big girl baths! She had a little problem with her "duck tub" (she was a little freaked out about the big rubber ducky tub) but we think she has overcome that fear and so next week we'll try that again, but for now Hannah is officially taking baths in the big tub!!! That might not be a big deal to most people, but it is soo exciting to Trey and I!!! And she has also learned to sit up on her own!!! Go HANNAH!

Thank you mom and dad for the winter jacket ya'll sent for Hannah, it is adorable..I took some pics but I need to take better ones-I think the camera was on a weird setting so they look kind of funky! And the pictures you sent are great!

We are soooo excited to hear that Aunt Meme is coming for Thanksgiving...and we just hope that Uncle Matt can come too! Now I can throw my little sis a baby shower, which I was hoping that I could do since I found out she was pregnant. It was so neat to be able to throw Aunt Meme her Bridal Shower and I love that I can do the same for her baby shower too. We love Aunt Meme and Uncle Matt so much and miss them! Milestones!

Each and everyday, it seems another memory is made, another reminder of how much of a blessing Hannah Elizabeth is in our lives! It was so much fun last week to take her to go get her 6 month pictures taken (yes! I know it's past 6 months...o well) anyways it was a blast! Mom went with us, since her and dad were leaving on Saturday and we wanted to get a generation picture taken with us three gals too! Trey and I had were so excited watching Hannah laugh and cry, smile and look so cute with her "puppy dog" look during the photo session! Anyways, it was another reminder to us (like I said alraeady) that it's such a blessing to have her as our daughter. We thank God everyday for her...as she wakes us up (she's our little alarm clock) at 7:30am and just throughout the day as she smiles when you walk into a room, letting you know she loves you so much, and when she giggles as we tickle her belly with our head (one of her favorite games), to the minute she falls asleep (about 7:30pm) with a kiss goodnite and an "I love you" as we lay her down. Our little love bug!!!

Note from Hannah: "I had so much fun with you, Papa and Nana, last week eating cookies, being cute while you cleaned up your house, and just letting you love on me. I love you soooo much and you better be coming back to see me soon, because soon I might be able to crawl after you! Love you Nana and Papa...make sure to call me alot!"

We are so very excited that Papa is coming back to Pittsburgh tonight...it's been a whole 2 months and we can't wait to spend the next couple days with him and Nana (-Hannah)!!!!

Hannah had to have a say in the blog today, since today is a very exciting day! Even though Hannah will probably be asleep tonight, we're going to surprise my dad at the airport tonight, since he hasn't seen us since the beginning of august...it feels like forever though! And we will def. charish the next couple of days with him and my mom, since starting on saturday they are heading to New Mexico (which is so exciting for them too)...but we know we'll probably not see them for quite awhile! That's soo sad for us!

Hannah has been showered with gifts the past couple of weeks! Thank you mom and dad for everything that you've done for Trey, Hannah, and I...we love you soo much! And Hannah loves all her new things and I love having some new maternity clothes (especially new shirts!). And thank you to her Pawpaw and Mawmaw for sending some new stuff too..we'll make sure to post new pics as she wears all the cute new things!

Tomorrow is picture day for Hannah and we can't wait....she's soo much fun with all her new and crazy expressions that tomorrow should be a riot! Just pray that there's no puking!!!!

And just to note: Very exciting news to come...we find out the sex of fuller baby #2 on October 6th...we can't wait!

So, today Hannah and I spent the afternoon with my wonderful mother who will be leaving us for good next Saturday. I will not speak anymore of it or I will need a whole box of tissues. But Hannah will get to finally see her Papa again since FOREVER, next Thursday thru Saturday (when Papa and Nana will then leave Pittsburgh FOREVER)! New Mexico is lucky to have such an amazing couple that's so on fire for Christ! Well enough about that FOR NOW....Hannah is a cookie monster! While we were out, we picked up some teething cookies that Hannah finds very very yummy! I included a picture of the "messy hannah elizabeth" to make you smile and laugh and just brighten your day...because it def. brightened mine!

And on another note, to keep everyone up-to-date...Hannah will go to the doctor tomorrow to get her 3rd batch of shots (5-6 of them) with makes tomorrow at 2 o'clock a "sad sad time" for a sweet little girl. Last time, in July, she realized she was getting shots the minute she could smell the alcohol swab and began to cry her little eyes out. So, please pray that tomorrow goes nice and smooth and that Hannah doesn't feel too much pain. Well, we love everyone A TON and please keep us up-to-date with yourselves by leaving us comments!!!!

So, I messed up! Grandparents Day this year was September 7th, but I'm only half at fault because my mother gave me a 2009 calendar that she too thought was this year's calendar and so I went by the date on it, which was the 13th (YESTERDAY)! So we will CELEBRATE grandparents today! I just want to say, that I have the best grandparents in the world; Grandma Elaine and Grandpa Donnie, Grandma Gerry and the late Grandpa Cliff. My grandparents growing up and even now are just an incredible source of inspiration to me! And I will make sure to tell Hannah and all her siblings about how special her grandparents are/were to me! Also, I have to say Hannah has the best grandparents in the world too! Family is so important to us, and even though we may be close or far away, WE LOVE YOU ALL!!! And we make sure to talk about her "Papa and Nana" and "Pawpaw and Mawmaw" daily!!! BIG KISSES TO THE BEST GRANDPARENTS A 6 MONTH OLD LITTLE GIRL COULD EVER HAVE!!!!

As I was changing my calendar over to September, I couldn't happen but notice that Grandparent's Day is coming up on the 13th! It's so wonderful to know that Hannah has such loving grandparents and great grandparents (and even a great-great grandmother)! Family is so important to us and we talk about all our family to Hannah all the time. We can't wait until she can really realize how special everyone is to us (and to her)! So, even though it's not Grandparents Day today, we want them to know that we celebrate the love of family in our home EVERDAY! And yes, that includes her amazing Uncle Zach, fabulous Uncle Josh, and wonderful Uncle Matt and Aunt Meme....she's misses you all!!!!! We love you all and thank you for all your prayers during our first pregancy and these past almost 6 months with Hannah...and we love that everyone is soo excited about Baby Fuller 2!

So Trey turned the BIG 27 today! And so far this holiday weekend, we've had a blast as a family! Saturday we went with my mother up to Grove City to do some shopping for the day. Hannah got 4 new outfits (thanks "papa and nana") and Caleb got a TON of new stuff (we all helped with picking everything out) and it's sooo cute! I'm so excited for Meredith and Matt and for us with the new babies on the way! Yesterday, I planned a small get together of Lori's family, mom, and us all to have dinner and cake at Lori's and it was a wonderful little birthday party for Trey! Thank you Lori and mom for all the good food (and thanks to Uncle Scott for cooking such wonderful chicken...very delicious)!!! Oh and I have to mention the fact that we spent 2 hours, yes 2 hours at Jo Anne Fabrics so that Trey could spend some of his birthday money on quilting material so he could start on his new quilt! He's so cute! Today, Hannah made sure to wake us up early (well her normal time 7am) to start Trey's birthday right away! So, far it's been a great day and it's gorgeous outside! We don't know what all we are doing today, but we do know we're going to Applebee's tonight (to spend Trey's gift card on dinner)! So Happy BIrthday to Trey!!!!!!! Well, mom accompanied Hannah and I to the doctor today to check on Baby Fuller #2. It's so beautiful to listen to the baby's heart beat...God is just so amazing! The baby is doing great, and the doctor said we can find out the sex as of October 7th, so we are counting down the days! After the doctor, we all went to lunch and then to walmart for a "small shop". Then because my mother is sooo wonderful, she came over and helped tidy up my house...which was in desperate need! I love my mother, and it's so nice to be able to spend quality time with her before she moves far far away! Boo hoo!!! Then she waited til Trey got home, so we could all eat a lovely meal together! And dad ("papa") don't worry, we miss you lots! I'll try my best to post pictures everyday, it's such a nice way for ALL the family to keep in touch with how big Hannah is getting and how great we're all doing!

Hannah is getting sooo big!!!! Eating is one of Hannah's favorite things to do! Along with laughing, and a new favorite thing-scooting backwards! Here are some pictures we took the past couple of days!

It was so great for Hannah and I to be able to spend the day with my mother, especially since she'll be leaving soon for New Mexico. Mom and I talked about when I was a baby, and it made me think how fast time goes by. The nine months I was pregnant with Hannah, we were so anxious for her to just be "here" and in our arms. Now she's almost 6 months old and she grows in so many ways each and everyday. God has really shown us, through being parents, that each and everyday is so precious. Never take for granted the "I love you"s or the hugs and kisses...(we don't)! Our favorite times as a family are the times we're all laying in bed together or hanging around the house in our pj's!

We are so axcited as a family in the ways that God has blessed, and is still blessing us. This year alone, we have welcomed our first addition to our family (Hannah Elizabeth), celebrated our first anniversary as a married couple, and now are looking forward to the new addition to come, who's due March 10th! God is just so amazing in what He's shown us as a family and how He's grown each of us.
